Hoo boy, yeah, Quinn's new Season 3 characterization is making this version of her mildly hilarious.
I like the explanation of why Kurt isn't really into the superhero thing (besides bodily harm). Kurt wants to be famous but superheroes don't attach their real names and faces to their hero personas, at least not normally. I wonder if Rachel's realized yet that being famous as Gold Star, or whatever she chooses as her name, isn't the same as being famous as Rachel Berry. And being known by your real name and face has a whole host of completely different problems.
The best part though is that Kurt is totally taking advantage of his powers in exactly the same way I would. Now he can look fabulous in designer clothes without actually having to deal with the discomfort of wearing them. If I had those powers, it would be sweatpants and t-shirts every day for the rest of my life. Comfort clothes forever!
