I am beginning to adore Sam Evans, both in this verse and the canon one, far more than is healthy. He is just such a sweetheart. Plus he's adorable with Mercedes. And he fits into this world with almost absurd ease - I really noticed in this chapter how much he fitted in, whereas Blaine and Lauren still felt like outsiders to me.
Poor Finn. He thinks he's the knight in shining armour, and his protectiveness of Kurt is pretty sweet, but dear God stop interfering. Not looking forward to the blowup when Kurt finds out (well, OK, I am looking forward to it, but you know what I mean).
I'm intrigued that everyone managed to work themselves back to the relationships they were in in New York, except Kurt and Puck. There's got to be some significance there. (Also, loved that Kurt and Rachel were best friends in New York. Although that's obviously non-negotiable in a story like this.)
Continuing to love this story muchly. Thank you so much for it!
