Mar. 13th, 2011 09:09 pmMy thread on the charity auction. I'm offering a minimum 5k word fic. It can either be an original plot or an expansion/sequel to one of mine. Starting bid is $1.
I am still working through another charity fic that is seeing progress but will be finished before this one for issues of 1) already having a big chunk of it written and 2) fairness, of course! That said, you will still get teaser scenes, etc. to show you that progress is being made.
If you're looking for some other way to donate, please consider ShelterBox. It's a lesser-known charity but it does amazing, speedy, and life-saving work in situations like this. It was DailyKos' charity of choice during the Haiti earthquake and their donations saw many, many families sheltered in the days that followed. Those people do good work.
