Glee Fic Master List

Note: at this time, all my work is gen. I do make reference to some couples, such as Brittany & Santana or Rachel & Finn, but they're not the focus.

I am dividing it up by POV character, with the exception of the ongoing universe listed at the top and the in-comment meme fills linked at the end. This does mean that fics with a few POV characters may be listed multiple times, although if it gets too heavy it'll get chucked into "ensemble."

Contents

30 Day Glee Meme: Short fics written as accompaniment to my answers

The Mostverse

William McKinley, Class of 2012, has graduated. Now they're faced with the much larger world outside. (Read linked, one-page versions at my Wordpress-based archive here.)

Main track (Rachel & Kurt):
Most Likely to Succeed - It was easier for Rachel Berry to feel like a star in Lima, Ohio than in the middle of Manhattan. That wasn't how things were supposed to work. (8900 words)

Most Changed Since High School - In their first semester of college, Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel learned how to be friendly. It's much harder to be friends. (11,100 words)

Interlude: Scenes From an Apartment - Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel are officially friends by their sophomore year of college. Now they have to figure out how to deal with the rest of the world. (6000 words)

Least Likely Couple - By their junior year of college, everything is making sense to Kurt Hummel and nothing's quite working out for Rachel Berry. That's what it looks like from her perspective, anyway. (18,000 words)

Interlude: Scenes From a Basement - A visit to Lima gives Kurt Hummel some perspective after three years in New York. It might not be the cure-all everyone hoped for, though. (8100 words)

Side Stories:
(Read linked, one-page versions at my Wordpress-based archive here.)

Least Distance Traveled - Quinn Fabray had a plan for her life after high school. It's not working out. (Quinn, Matt, Mike, and Puck-centered) (5600 words)

Most Likely to Stay Friends - It's easy for Mercedes to describe herself as "Kurt's best friend." That gives her a unique perspective on the time he and Rachel are spending together in New York. (11,000 words)

Most Popular - Finn Hudson loves everything about college. Except for the stuff he doesn't. (6800 words)

The 25th President of the United States of America

This wasn't supposed to happen. They're just kids. (Read linked, one-page versions at my Wordpress-based archive here.)

The 25th President of the United States of America - This was written for this prompt at the [livejournal.com profile] glee_angst_meme. It involves a school shooting and lays out who specifically is targeted. I would recommend avoiding the prompt at first if you would like to be surprised. (3200 words)

Absolution - This is a sequel to The 25th President of the United States of America. Immediately after gunmen tore their way through the William McKinley High School cafeteria, all people could focus on was who had lived and who had died. Given time, more wounds reveal themselves. (16,400 words)

Self-Contained Stories & Series

ENSEMBLE

Down and Out Here in Paradise - Zombies. No, really. Zombies. (WIP. Title link goes to the first part.) (Part 1: 6600 words. Part 2: 6000 words.)

Predators - Sue Sylvester just wants one thing to go like she planned. Is that too much to ask? (6700 words)

Showmanship - A weekly assignment blows up in William Schuester's face. (It's Britney, bitch.) (7000 words)

Three Tons - Some things have gone very wrong at William McKinley High School. The instructors are attempting to get everyone's input so they can get to the bottom of it. (6000 words)

FINN

Heroes - Five times Kurt Hummel was Finn Hudson's hero, and one time he was Kurt Hummel's. (3200 words)

It Goes On and On and On and On - The first part of this was written for a on the angst meme: "Kurt makes a deal with a higher power to trade his life for his mother's. (She never dies, he does instead). Glee Club are the only ones who remember Kurt." This also contains a follow-up story within the same post. (5200 words)

Strep Throat - Strep throat: like laryngitis, but it hurts more. (Written for a prompt that asked for Carole to bond with Kurt.) (2600 words)

KAROFSKY

Unfair - He hadn't meant to put Hummel in a coma, he hadn't meant to become a poster boy for bullying, and he definitely hadn't meant to wind up on the national news. (11,000 words)

KURT

Attic - Kurt, in some small way, gets to meet his mom. It doesn't go well. (3100 words)

I Swear - This was written for this prompt on the fluff meme. "For guys’ night, Burt, Finn, Puck and Kurt watch Brokeback Mountain. All except Kurt cry." (900 words)

It Means No Worries - After the events of Duets, Kurt and Brittany bond over a topic with which they're both apparently familiar: Disney movies. (5500 words)

Nationals - The rules are different when you're on the road. Different and weird. (4000 words)

Vulnerability - An outside observer tries to make sense of what he sees in Sue Sylvester's grief. (1300 words)

We Got It On Lock - Everyone who has worn both a Regionals outfit and a Cheerios uniform winds up on a road trip together. A long trip. (10,500 words)

MERCEDES

We Got It On Lock - Everyone who has worn both a Regionals outfit and a Cheerios uniform winds up on a road trip together. A long trip. (10,500 words)

RACHEL

It Goes On and On and On and On - The first part of this was written for a on the angst meme: "Kurt makes a deal with a higher power to trade his life for his mother's. (She never dies, he does instead). Glee Club are the only ones who remember Kurt." This also contains a follow-up story within the same post. (Rachel's POV part is fairly minor, here.) (5200 words)

Show Business - Rachel and Kurt are told to lead teams against each other in a competition of Broadway songs, to the rest of the club's mild horror. (11,400 words)

You're Left Only On Your Own - At a late practice one night, Rachel and Kurt are almost killed. Things get worse from there. (20,100 words)

SUE

Giving Back - Sue Sylvester informs Kurt Hummel that he's going to be her new protégé. No, she didn't ask. (2700 words)

I'm a Winner, and You're Fat - This is an answer to this prompt on [livejournal.com profile] glee_fluff_meme: "Excerpts from Sue Sylvester's novel I'm a Winner and You're Fat. Bonus points for mentions of Brittana and Will Schuester's hair." (1300 words)

Up Yours - Sue has some vengeance to administer like the hand of an angry god. (2500 words)

In-Comment Replies

Burt Angst - Written to this prompt: "Maybe, if he tells his son he loves him enough times, someday it'll be true."

Brotherly Bonding - "The six steps it took for Finn and Kurt to become brothers."

Choose - Forced to decide between Glee and the Cheerios, Santana, Brittany, and Kurt all choose the latter option.

Family - Written to this prompt: "Someone in ND manages to get revenge on Jesse. I mean, it's the fluff meme... nothing gruesome. :) But he gets what's coming to him!"

Five Requested Drabbles - (In the "short story" sense, not "100 words" sense. Sorry, old English teachers!) Brittany & Santana fluff, Kurt & Finn fluff, Rachel & her dads drama, ensemble fluff, and Burt & Sue fluff.

Glee: The MMORPG - Written for a longish prompt that boils down to "New Directions starts playing a MMO together." As a Warcraft guildmaster, I of course went with WoW.

Hero!Kurt - When his dad had made him take that first aid course, Kurt had thought "I'm never going to use this."

Mercedes angst - Written to this prompt: "Mercedes has long since gotten over her crush on Kurt and fully accepts he's gay. She loves having him as her best friend. But sometimes, just ever now and then, she wished things were different and that they could have grown old together. But only sometimes, of course."

Psychic!Finn - Finn has a nightmare where he sees the future. In this future Kurt was killed after a prank gone wrong by Karofsky. Finn vows he'll never let that happen.

The Worst Superpowers Ever - A crack meme fill that asked for the Glee kids to develop... well, you've probably guessed it.
